The sizing, the last shape, and the construction are all calibrated for Indian foot profiles — slightly wider in the forefoot, comfortable in the toe box, and built to handle the playing conditions and court surfaces that junior players in India actually encounter. TRU Cushion — Protection for Joints That Are Still Developing
The midsole of the VELO 100i Junior uses Yonex’s TRU Cushion technology. The cushioning absorbs impact on every jump, every landing, and every hard stop — and because it has a high resilience construction, it bounces back to shape quickly and doesn’t compress flat over time the way cheaper foam does.
For junior players this matters especially.
