USI Universal Unbeatable Boxing Gloves 609UBB — Train Hard, Hands Protected
USI Universal has been making boxing equipment in India for decades. They’re the go-to brand for gyms, coaches, and boxers across the country — not because of marketing, but because the gear holds up. The 609UBB Unbeatable gloves are built for training and sparring — the kind of sessions where you’re on the bag for an hour or going rounds with a partner.
Available in 10oz and 12oz. Black only. PU synthetic leather throughout.
PU Synthetic Leather — Practical Choice for Training
PU leather handles daily training punishment well. It doesn’t crack as quickly as cheaper materials, wipes clean easily after sweaty sessions, and holds its shape over time. Not genuine leather, but for training gloves that are getting used three to five times a week, PU is the smart pick — lower maintenance, longer practical life.
Moulded Foam Padding — Protection That Stays in Place
The padding is moulded — pre-shaped to the glove rather than loose foam that shifts around inside. When foam moves during a session, your knuckle protection becomes inconsistent. Moulded foam stays where it’s supposed to, so your hands get consistent protection whether you’re working the bag or sparring.
Good padding also protects your sparring partner. Nobody wants to train with someone wearing thin gloves.
Hook and Loop Closure — On and Off in Seconds
Hook and loop strap at the wrist. Easy to put on by yourself, secure enough to stay in place through a full session. The wrist support keeps the joint stable during hooks and uppercuts — the punches that put the most sideways stress on the wrist.
Sweat-Wicking Lining Inside
The inner lining pulls moisture away from your hands during the session. Boxing gloves that trap sweat get uncomfortable fast and smell worse. The wicking lining keeps hands drier and the glove fresher over time.
10oz or 12oz — Pick the Right Weight
10oz is lighter — faster hand speed, better for bag work and pad work. Most competitive boxing uses 10oz for fight night.
12oz has more padding — better for sparring where you want more protection for both you and your partner. Beginners are usually better off starting at 12oz.
If you’re unsure, go 12oz. You can always move to 10oz later.
